Before the Dutch government can create protected conservation sites in the North Sea, a whole raft of tasks have to be completed.
When the government takes measures to protect nature in the North Sea, it goes to work carefully.
Since 2001 the Dutch sector of the North Sea has been a 'land sector'. The Netherlands saltwater sector was given. Op maandag 29 april 2013 is in de Staatscourant een zogenaamd "Toegangs Beperkingen Besluit" gepubliceerd. Hiermee worden de in het VIBEG akkoord opgenomen maatregelen ten aanzien van visserij (en ander gebruik) in de Natura 2000-gebieden Noordzeekustzone en Vlakte van de Raan formeel vastgesteld. Specifieke informatie mbt de gebiedssluitingen en andere bepalingen is in dit besluit en de bijlage te vinden. |
The North Sea Natura 2000 project is being managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, the World Wildlife Fund, the North Sea Foundation, Imares and the Dutch Fish Product Board.
